Jake’s Ginger Garlic Country Style Ribs
1 package Jake’s Country Meats Country Style Ribs (about 4 ribs)
1 C chicken broth
½ C soy sauce
½ C packed dark brown sugar
¼ C fresh lime juice
2 T finely grated fresh ginger
1 T minced garlic
1 C packed dark brown sugar
1 T fresh lime juice
1 T finely grated fresh ginger
1 t minced garlic
½ t kosher salt
¼ t freshly ground black pepper
dash cayenne pepper
Thaw ribs in the refrigerator overnight, or under cold running water.
Combine marinade ingredients. Place ribs in a gallon size ziplock bag and pour marinade over the ribs.
Squeeze out as much air as you can from the bag, and lay flat on a plate.
Place in the refrigerator overnight.
The next day, heat a BBQ grill to low-medium, using indirect heat. Remove ribs from the refrigerator.
When the grill is at about 250 dg. place ribs on, not over direct heat.
Meanwhile, combine the glaze ingredients and mix well.
Brush ribs with glaze and grill for about 45 minutes to one hour, brushing with the glaze as you go.
Check the temperature with a thermometer, the ribs should be at about 160 degrees.
Remove and serve.
